The speaker is not working

You can test the speaker in the Virtual Room before joining a meeting to make sure it works properly.
The following steps will guide you through manually testing your speakers.

Prerequisites for verifying the device's microphone and speakers

  • A microphone : such as the built-in microphone, a USB microphone or a microphone built into the headset
  • Speakers or headphones
  • Allow access to audio / video devices via the "Grant Access" button on the initial screen of the verification phase.

Check the speakers

  1. Click on the play button to play a test sound
  2. If you can't hear it, select a new speaker from the appropriate drop-down menu , or adjust the volume .

The speaker does not work

If there is no sound in the audio device, check the following:

  • The audio device is connected correctly
  • Check that the volume is not zero
  • Your computer's device drivers are up to date.

In case of physical damage to the device or if the problem persists after the device restart , try using a different device.
